Hi, I'm Andy
It’ll come as no surprise that I’ve always loved stories. As a kid, it was VHS tapes, camcorders, powerpoint presentations and home videos. As an adult, it became something deeper, as it is an invitation into people’s most profound memories.
I founded Sixteen 9 Films during a season of uncertainty. What began as a side project quickly grew into something life-giving, it is a creative calling rooted in joy and deep connection.

The name Sixteen 9 Films was born from this verse in Psalm that carried me through a difficult season during the pandemic. It reminded me that even in the unknown, there is a steady presence, a guiding light, a joy that cannot be shaken.
That feeling of joy felt universal during such challenging times, and quickly became the foundation of my work which is to create wedding films that are not just beautiful, but joy-giving. I want my films to be a reflection of the peace, purpose and celebration that makes weddings so special. Because even in the chaos, there is still something worth holding onto. Your wedding is such a beautiful story to witness, and an absolute honor and joy to tell.

When I’m not filming, you’ll find me spending time with my wife and kids, traveling, enjoying a good latte at a cozy coffee shop (my happy place), watching a soccer match or rewatching a Christopher Nolan film. I’m also a bit of a nostalgic tech collector/hoarder of all the camera gear, cds, dvds… As far as weddings themselves, I love traveling if it’s a destination wedding, a fun dance party, and of course, heartfelt speeches and vows.
